Antoine Rizkallah Kanaan Filho, commonly known as Tony Kanaan (born December 31, 1974) is a Brazilian race car driver. Kanaan won the 2013 Indianapolis 500 and the 2004 IndyCar Series Championship. His Indycar Series championship came while driving Andretti Green Racing’s 7-Eleven sponsored car, winning three times in his Honda-powered Dallara. That season he completed 3,305 laps, making him the first IndyCar Series driver to complete every possible lap in a season, record that he still holds to this day. Kanaan is also the only driver to lead the Indianapolis 500 in each of his first seven starts. TK won his first Indy 500 in 2013 on his 12th attempt. Tony has a total of 17 IndyCar race victories and 15 poles to his account. Tony started his IndyCar career racing for Tasman Motorsports, then Forsythe,
Mo Nunn Racing and Andretti Autosport. Kanaan currently drives the No. 10 Chip Ganassi entry.

Kanaan’s IndyCar has a Dallara DW12 chassis with a 2.2 liters twin turbo Chevrolet mated to a Xtrac transmission. The weight of the car is: 1570 lbs in oval spec, 1600 lbs road/street course spec. The power output of 625 to 675 HP varies with boost spec per track.
The car is fueled by Sunoco E85R with a tank capacity of 18.5 gallons. Tires are provided by Firestone.

Indianapolis 500 Champion!
After loosing his ride when the team sponsor left Andretti Autosport at the end of 2010, Kanaan signed with KV Racing Technologies five days before the season opener in St. Petersburg. Tony went on to finish that race on the podium.
IndyCar Champion with three victories and 15 Top-Five finishes. Completed all 3,305 laps of the season.
CART Rookie of the Year with two podiums. 9th place overall in the championship.
